General Event Sectorization Guidelines
Sector 02
Primary controls the entirety of HCF airspace from SFC-FL600. During high-traffic situations when multiple CTR positions are online, HNL_02_CTR typically controls the inner western sector of the airspace, and handles the BOOKE, KAENA and KLANI arrivals into PHNL.
Sectors 3, 4 and 5
These sectors mostly handle the traffic between the islands as well as eastbound departures and westbound arrivals into PHNL.
Sectors 6 and 7
Sectors 6 and 7 are the edge sectors and handle all initial arrivals into HCF airspace as well as departures before they enter oceanic airspace.
